In 1980, he was chosen as the student representative of Mashhad’s Kashani High School and In 1981, he secured second place in a writing competition
and in 1982, he achieved first place in the province of Khorasan in writing competition. In 1983, he was admitted to the University of Art in Tehran with a high ranking. In 1988, he served as an assistant director on the film “Tope” (Ball) in Tehran, and also as an assistant director on the feature film “Saleh,” which, however, never made it to production. He organized the first nationwide film and photography festival for students in 1988 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran, collaborating with friends from the Cinema and Theater faculty. Drawing upon his successful background in cinema, he was invited to join the faculty of the University of Sistan and Baluchestan in Zahedan, where he played a crucial role in establishing the Faculty of Art and contributing significantly to the university’s development. Following the suggestion of the late Sistani artist, Professor Ali Shahreh, he continued teaching specialized filmmaking courses in Zahedan. He became a member of the provincial screenplay approval council and, subsequently, joined the judging panel of the South-East Young Cinema Festival. He participated in judging alongside Professor Parviz Zahedi, the creator of the Amir Kabir series, and Ms. Shah Hosseini, a renowned Iranian film director. He collaborated on the documentary film “Lorag Bagh,” which was selected as the best indigenous documentary film in Iran.
